What to Bring on Your Lake Michigan Salmon Fishing Charter

While I supply the rods, reels and bait, there are a few items you will need to bring with you.

Fishing License

Any person who will be fishing who is 17 and older is required to have a valid State of Michigan all-species fishing license.

One-day fishing licenses can be purchased at the Michigan DNR website.

Food or Drink

Bring whatever you want to eat and drink. Alcohol is permitted.

Bring a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellant.

Bring a cooler to keep in your vehicle until we get back from our trip to transport your cleaned fish home.

Ice can be purchased after the charter at the Marina.

Sea Sickness Medication

If you are unsure about sea sickness it is my recommendation to take medication (Bonine) the night before the charter.

Note: I supply all rods. If you have favorite baits, bring them and I will put them out.
